Zinnia 'Cactus Flowered Mix'
In 1931, horticulturalist A. Hottes wrote, "At last the Zinnia has come into its own." He was referring to the many colors and forms coming out of California, among them the "Fantasy" types with large shaggy flowers of twisted petals in beautiful colors. Cactus flowered zinnias arose from these earlier types, enhancing gardens with a mix of bright violet, pink, yellow, red, lavender, white, and coral flowers.
