Sweet Alyssum 'Benthamii'

Double sweet alyssums once were quaint inhabitants of the florist's greenhouse bench, and dwarf strains are the rule today, but I can't imagine a flower more charming than this heirloom. Graceful waves of honey-scented blooms are perfect for softening garden edges. In addition, its nectar attracts beneficial insects such as hoverflies and wasps while repelling pest species.
