New England Aster

Blooming along roadsides across New England, this vibrant violet-purple daisy flower is arresting in the company of russet and amber-hued ferns in fall. We grow it with bronze Chrysanthemums in borders, or peppered in damp meadow plantings with grasses. The many-layered daisy blooms have golden pollen-filled centers that entice honeybees, native bees, and butterflies.
