Love-in-a-Mist 'Miss Jekyll Alba'
The species originated in Southern Europe; however, its double-flowered form was cultivated in England by 1597, known as Jack-in-Prison and St Katherine's Flower. I offer an excellent double white selection, with many overlapping petals sporting cut edges. A lace collar surrounds the bloom, followed by decoratively striped, rounded seed pods that make beautiful dried arrangements. Lovely in a white-themed summer garden and easy to grow.
