Cosmos 'Sonata™ Purple Shades'

We love the compact form of this cosmos, a perfect ferny shrub that by midsummer is filled with full pleated petals of rich red-purple that slowly fade to misty hues. Every bud seems to burst into bloom simultaneously, completely covering the plant, but when deadheaded or cut for bouquets, it just keeps producing more until frost.
