Ageratum 'Blue Bouquet'
Graceful, long-stemmed Ageratums such as 'Blue Bouquet' were once the norm, only recently replaced with awkward stubby forms that rise to only a few inches. This vintage variety has fuzzy flower heads of amethyst blue that are trouble-free in the garden, where they shine, given a bit of afternoon shade and rich soils. They are often cut for summer bouquets and add an appealing "touch me" quality. Deadheading is recommended to prolong blooming.
