Agastache 'Giant Hyssop'

Bees and butterflies adore this deep lavender-blue Agastache, while deer stay away from the licorice-scented flowers and foliage. An undemanding ornamental that blooms for months, needs little fertilizer, and is adaptable to dry, poor soils. Freshly gathered leaves brew a delightful minty herbal tea, and flower wands picked and hung upside down in a dark, airy area will make dried bouquets and potpourris. Deadhead to limit self-sowing.
